Some of my favorite Fall memories were going through a corn maze with my friends in high school. So when someone told us about a corn maze that was only 45 minutes away from Iowa City, I was in. Bennett and I went to Bloomsbury Farm today with two other residents and their significant others in hopes to conquer the corn maze and get into the Fall spirit. When we discovered we didn't have a map of the maze (although we did find one crumbled up while in the maze) we decided to just wing it and try to find at least six stops along the way so we could each have our picture next to a stop (pictured below). The maze was much larger and more difficult than we had anticipated but we still made it to our goal of six!
Bloomsbury farm also had hayrack rides, gemstone mining, pumpkin blasting, lots of food (including a wine cellar), a pumpkin patch, pig races, goats, games, and all of that fun Fall stuff. It was a gorgeous day outside and I am happy that Bennett had a few hours off to enjoy the weather this afternoon.
